About SRA Roofing & Gutters
Owner · Navy Veteran · Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned
Keith Barber owns SRA Roofing & Gutters, a Missouri roofing company built around experienced local teams, detailed roof documentation, and giving homeowners a straight answer about what their roof actually needs.
Keith Barber
Keith built SRA on the experience of long-established Springfield roofers. Their expertise and professionalism helped shape the company from the beginning, and they still influence how SRA operates today.
That experience shows up in the way we inspect, document, clean up, and everything in between.
Before roofing, Keith served in the U.S. Navy as a diver.
SRA is a service-disabled veteran-owned business, but Keith has never wanted that to be the only reason someone chooses the company. It is part of who he is and how SRA is run: take responsibility, do the work thoroughly, and be there when people are counting on you.
Storm damage can get complicated quickly, especially when insurance is involved. Keith wanted SRA homeowners to have more than someone's opinion about what a roof looked like before or after a storm.
That thinking became the SRA Advantage.
After your first inspection or roofing service visit, SRA documents the condition of your roof and continues with two documented roof inspections each year, free for life. If hail or wind damages the roof later, you already have a dated record showing what it looked like beforehand.
After a storm, SRA can inspect again, document what changed, and give you photos and findings to use throughout the process.
Keith has also built a team that includes former insurance adjusters.
That experience matters when storm damage leads to a claim. The team knows what carriers look for when reviewing roof damage and what good roofing documentation needs to show.
The goal is simple: when insurance is involved, you should have a clear record of the damage and understand what is happening with your roof.
Coverage and claim decisions remain with the homeowner and carrier. SRA does not act as a public adjuster or negotiate claims.
Keith knows what happens in Missouri after a major hail or wind event. Roofing crews come into town, knock on doors, finish as much work as they can, and move on when storm season does.
SRA is built differently.
The teams are local, the company is rooted in Missouri, and the relationship does not end when the new roof goes on. If you have a question later, need another inspection, or something deserves a second look, you know who to call.
Keith is usually building something even when he is not working on SRA.
On the farm he shares with his wife outside Springfield, he has built the family pool and a large vegetable garden. He is an avid whitetail hunter with 23 stands mapped across the property.
Before roofing, Keith and his wife owned a television production company and hosted a nationally aired outdoor hunting show together.
He is also a hockey dad, grandfather to seven grandkids, and, as his daughter Bailey puts it, “never not working on something.”
